Byron Glacier – Chugach National Forest, Alaska

Byron Glacier is a short hike from the road in Chugach National Forest. The hike to this glacier is a very easy 0.8 mile hike. Again, I recommend ice cleats if you are making this hike in the winter!

This is another place that I can not wait to visit again in the summer, as the little cave (pictured below) turns in to a much larger cave after all the snow melts off of the glacier.
