Running of the Reindeer – Anchorage, Alaska

March 5, 2016

After the Iditarod Ceremonial Start, I stuck around downtown for the Running of the Reindeer, which also took place on 4th Avenue. This is a running race where people try and outrun several reindeer to the finish line. Several of the participants dressed up in costumes for the race.

The race was entertaining to watch, but I don’t anticipate participating in this race in the future!

This blog is simply a log of my personal experiences. It is not a travel guide, a trail guide, any other sort of a guide, and it is not intended to give information for replication.
