Turnigan Arm Drive/Seward Highway – Anchorage, Alaska

March 6, 2016

The drive from Anchorage to Portage along Turnigan Arm is absolutely beautiful! I can not wait to make this drive again in the summer. There are several pull-offs along Seward Highway if you want to stop and take pictures, or if you are like me and drive slower than the most people. Fortunately you are required to pull off if you are holding up five or more cars behind you! The drive is about 2 hours long without stopping.

I found the following website useful for more information: http://www.alaska.org/guide/turnagain-arm-drive

This blog is simply a log of my personal experiences. It is not a travel guide, a trail guide, any other sort of a guide, and it is not intended to give information for replication.
