Rabbit Lake Trail – Anchorage, Alaska

August 26, 2016

Rabbit Lake can be accessed from a few different trailheads, and I chose the Rabbit Creek Trailhead today.

The trail had a very gradual incline for the first couple miles and then leveled off. The trail was rocky but very easy to follow. Overall this was a very easy trail.

The trail parallels Rabbit Creek and goes toward North Suicide Peak and South Suicide Peak (pictured above).

There were lots of blueberries, however they were pretty picked over.

It is about 4.5 miles to reach the lake, and the view was gorgeous!

This is a trail that I would love to trail run instead of hike in the future.

This blog is simply a log of my personal experiences. It is not a travel guide, a trail guide, any other sort of a guide, and it is not intended to give information for replication.
