Potter Marsh – Anchorage, Alaska

September 6, 2016

I have driven past Potter Marsh many times when going hiking along Turnagain Arm, but never stopped in to have a look. I finally pulled in, and this was a pretty neat little spot with several great views.

The Potter Marsh boardwalk is about 0.5 miles in length, and was a great place to see waterfowl and salmon.

Rabbit Creek (pictured above) had lots of salmon (pictured below) that could be seen from the bridge.

We walked the boardwalk near sunset, which made for a very colorful evening.

This blog is simply a log of my personal experiences. It is not a travel guide, a trail guide, any other sort of a guide, and it is not intended to give information for replication.
