Gold Cord Lake Trail – Hatcher Pass, Alaska

After hiking around Independence Mine, I continued up to the next parking lot to the Gold Cord Lake Trail trailhead. 

This trail was about 2 miles round-trip and was a fairly easy hike. 

About half way up the trail, there is the Historic Lynch Cabin (pictured above). At the end of the trail is Gold Cord Lake (pictured below).  

This was a great short hike that I would love to do again during the different seasons.
